The Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE), funded by the European Commission, targets teachers, trainers, policy makers and any other stakeholders involved in adult learning in Europe. Its ultimate aim is to become the reference point in the sector across Europe. In collaboration with Ecorys UK web design team and communication experts, Ecorys Brussels organised the launch event of EPALE. In addition to the usual invitation and registration process & travel and accommodation arrangements for participants (this time around 250 people), our event experts booked and managed the venue and hotel to ensure the smooth running and coordination of the event (shuttle services, official dinner, catering during breaks, welcome and check-in, etc.). To this purpose as well as to enable further discussion and interaction of participants, live streaming was set together with a Twitter wall. Moreover, networking opportunities were provided with the set-up of a market place with information corners and space for exhibitors.
